Ravenna Christian Church
The Ravenna Christian Church congregation has always been a close-knit community. Since the church's founding in 1917, several generations of the same families have attended this small "community church" located amid a residential neighborhood. Bro. Tony White is currently the church's pastor. The annual Homecoming Sunday, when former members return to visit, is always one of their most treasured times. Another favorite is their gathering for a Potluck Dinner following the Sunday Service. These families have grown up together, played together, and continue to pray together. With God's grace, may it continue to be so!
St. Elizabeth Catholic Church
Established in 1932, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church of Ravenna, Kentucky, is a small brick church. The edifice sits at the end of Fifth Street near the colorful trees and flowers of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Under the current leadership of Rev. Enrique Montoya, parish priest, St. Elizabeth Church continues to support the community with many programs. The periodic "Basement Sale" is one of the most popular events in the county. Whether helping with programs or serving as Lector or Eucharistic Minister, teaching their faith to the children, or gathering together for worship, the members grow in their love as a "family" and a vibrant faith community!
